Who am I?
My name is Matthew Petti. I worked as a beat reporter covering foreign policy for a couple years after university, and spent a few years in the Middle East on various fellowships, including a Fulbright research grant about translation. Currently I’m a magazine editor.
This blog is, as the name suggests, my notebook. It’s a place for day-to-day thoughts on media, politics, history, and anything else that comes to mind. And when I publish original reporting elsewhere, I like to discuss the behind-the-scenes process that led to the story on this blog.
If you like what you see, give it a follow. And if you hate what you see, give it a follow anyways, because I’d be really interested in your feedback.
